Clean orphan environments
The Clean orphan environments feature is meant for those rare cases when an environment cannot be removed through the normal sidebar procedure and keeps showing up in the environments list or in the System Status, taking up one of the slots on your plan. In these situations, the feature forces the removal of the leftover environment.
How to tell if you have orphan environments
To check whether you have orphan environments, just open the System Status panel: the Environments section shows the number of slots in use out of the total available. If the number does not match the environments you actually see in the sidebar — for example, the System Status reports “3/5” but the sidebar only lists 2 environments — it means there is an orphan environment that needs to be cleaned up.
How to run the cleanup
- Open the Google Sheet connected to Doc Regia
- From the top menu, go to Doc Regia → Advanced → Clean orphan environments
- Confirm the operation in the dialog that appears
- Reopen the System Status to verify that the environments count is now back to the correct value
💡 Tip: only use this feature if you have actually noticed a discrepancy in the environments count. Under normal conditions, deleting from the sidebar is enough and there is no need to force anything.
