Hourly Time-Slot Scheduling

Hourly Time-Slot Scheduling

Doc Regia allows you to schedule the automatic closure of Google Forms linked to your projects. This feature relies on Google Apps Script automatic triggers, which operate in hourly time slots rather than at an exact minute.

How it works

From the Scheduling panel of a project, you can select a date and an hourly time slot for closure. The form will be closed within the selected time slot, but the exact minute cannot be guaranteed.

For example, if you select the 3:00 PM–4:00 PM slot, the form will be closed at some point within that interval.

Why it is not to the exact minute

This is a Google Apps Script platform limitation, not a Doc Regia limitation. Google does not allow add-ons to run triggers more frequently than once per hour, making it impossible to schedule a closure at a precise minute through an add-on.

If you need an exact time

Google has recently introduced a native feature to close forms at an exact date and time. This option can be found directly in the Google Forms settings, accessible from the top-right menu of the form. A direct link to the form settings is also available in the Doc Regia Scheduling panel, so you can reach them in one click.
