Repair Automations

Restore automations

The Restore automations feature reinstalls the Doc Regia automatic trigger whenever it turns out to be disabled or not working. The trigger is the mechanism that, every hour, checks the responses received from the Google Forms connected to your projects and generates the corresponding documents. Without the trigger active, automatic generation stops.

How to tell if the trigger needs to be restored

The only place to check the status of the trigger is the System Status panel. In the Automatic Trigger section you will see one of these two conditions:

  • ✅ Automatic trigger: ACTIVE followed by the timestamp of the last run — in this case everything is working normally and nothing needs to be done
  • ❌ A message saying the trigger is not active or not installed — in this case you need to run the restore

How to run the restore

  1. Open the Google Sheet connected to Doc Regia
  2. From the top menu, go to Doc Regia → Advanced → Restore automations
  3. Confirm the operation in the dialog that appears
  4. Reopen the System Status to verify that the trigger is now active

💡 Tip: only run the restore if the System Status reports that the trigger is not active. Reinstalling it when it is already working does not cause any issues, but it is an unnecessary operation.
