Google Data Safety
Doc Regia is built on a simple principle: your data stays yours. The Add-on operates entirely within Google’s infrastructure and does not transmit your documents or form responses to any external server. This page explains exactly what data is accessed, why, and how it is protected.
Doc Regia accesses only the data strictly necessary to deliver its features. All data remains within the user’s Google account environment.
Metadata (IDs, names, URLs) to create, organise, and share files and folders within the user’s Drive. Limited to files created or opened by the add-on.
Project settings, folder IDs, form IDs, and notification preferences stored in the active spreadsheet. Limited to the spreadsheet in which the add-on is running.
Form questions and responses, read only at the moment of document generation as explicitly requested by the user.
Templates read to generate documents; output documents created in the user’s Drive. Template access is read-only.
Used to send notification and document delivery emails via the user’s own Gmail account, only when the feature is explicitly activated by the user.
Used to identify the authenticated user for authorisation, licence validation, and re-authorisation reminders.
Used exclusively to pre-populate the default sender signature in the Return Documents email template editor. Never stored externally.
All files, documents, and form responses remain exclusively in the user’s Google Drive and Google Sheets. The only data stored outside Google’s infrastructure is:
- Apps Script User/Script Properties: small technical key-value entries (configuration flags, locale preference, technical state) stored within the Google Apps Script environment. These do not contain form response content or document data.
- Licence key and email address: transmitted to regiasuite.com solely to verify licence validity. Stored exclusively for licence management purposes.
Doc Regia shares data only in the following strictly limited cases:
- Google LLC: all operations rely on Google Workspace APIs. Google acts as a data processor under the Google Workspace Data Processing Addendum.
- Email recipients: via the user’s own Gmail account, to addresses specified by the user in the Add-on configuration.
- regiasuite.com: the licence key and user email are transmitted solely for licence validation. No other data is shared.
Doc Regia does not sell personal data. It does not share data for advertising, commercial, or profiling purposes.
Doc Regia’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements:
- Google user data is used only to provide the features described in the Privacy Policy.
- Google user data is not transferred to third parties except as necessary to provide the service.
- Google user data is not used for advertising.
- Human access to Google user data is limited to cases necessary to provide the service or comply with applicable law.
Since all primary content (forms, responses, documents) resides in your Google Drive, you can delete it at any time directly from your Google account. To remove technical configuration data, uninstall the Add-on and revoke its OAuth permissions from your Google Account settings.
