Environnement & Sidebar
An environment is a Google Sheets spreadsheet linked to Doc Regia. Each environment can contain multiple projects and has its own folder structure in Google Drive.
Opening the sidebar
Open Doc Regia from Extensions → Doc Regia → Open. The sidebar shows two sections:
Panels
- Manage Projects — opens the Projects Workflow panel
- New Project — opens the New Project panel directly
Environments
The Environments section lists all your linked spreadsheets. Each environment shows:
- Its name (e.g. “Office Administration”)
- A current badge on the active environment
- A folder icon to open its Google Drive folder
To manage environments:
- Click + New to add a new environment (link a different spreadsheet)
- Click the refresh icon to reload the environment list
- Click Hide Environments to collapse the list

💡 Tip: Use different environments to separate distinct contexts — for example one spreadsheet per school year, or one per client.
⚠️ Note: Switching environment switches the active spreadsheet. Make sure you are working in the correct environment before creating new projects.
