Responses

The Form Responses panel displays every submission received by the Google Form linked to the selected project. From here you can review individual answers, open generated documents, delete responses, and trigger manual document generation.

Opening the panel

Select a project in the Projects Workflow panel, then click Responses in the Documents section of the right-side action menu. The panel opens as a dialog showing the project name and a table of all form submissions.

Response table

Each row represents one form submission and includes a checkbox, the submission timestamp, the respondent’s email address, and the values for every form question. The last column contains a Link to the generated document (Google Doc or PDF), if one has already been created. Click any row to open a detail view where you can read the full response in a single box — useful when the table has many columns and horizontal scrolling makes it hard to see all fields at once.

Toolbar

Above the table you will find a search bar and a row of action icons: Refresh to reload responses, Open folder to jump to the project’s document folder in Google Drive, Edit, and Print. A navigation menu lets you move directly to other panels without returning to the project list.

Deleting responses

Use the checkboxes to select one or more responses, then click Delete. This removes the selected entries from the response list. Already-generated documents in Drive are not affected by this action.

Manual document generation

Click Generate documents at the bottom of the panel to create documents on demand instead of waiting for the automatic hourly trigger. A dialog appears with the following options:

  • Format — choose between Google Doc or PDF.
  • Delivery — include a direct link, attach the file, or both.
  • Email notification — send an email to the respondent with the generated document.

Select the responses you want to process (or leave all unchecked to generate for every pending submission), configure the options, and confirm.

💡 Tip: Manual generation is helpful when you need documents immediately — for example, right after a registration deadline — without waiting for the next scheduled run. For details on how automatic generation works, see Manage Generation.
