Sidebar
The Sidebar is the main entry point of Doc Regia inside Google Sheets. It hosts the panels that open the add-on’s features and the list of environments available to the current account.
How to open it
From Google Sheets: Extensions → Doc Regia → Open Doc Regia. The sidebar appears on the right of the spreadsheet.
Structure
The sidebar is divided into two sections:
- Panels — buttons to open the main working panels
- Environments — list of the spreadsheets linked to Doc Regia, with the active one highlighted
Panels section
- Manage Projects — opens the Projects Workflow panel, the main hub to manage all projects in the active environment
- New Project — opens the New Project panel to create a project from scratch
Environments section
Lists all the environments linked to Doc Regia. Each row shows the environment name, a current badge on the active one, and a folder icon to open the matching folder in Google Drive.
From this section:
- Click + New to link a new spreadsheet as a new environment
- Click the refresh icon to reload the environment list
- Click Hide Environments to collapse the list and free up vertical space
Plan indicator
The sidebar also shows the current plan badge — Free, PRO (purple), PRO Business (green), or Lifetime (gold). Clicking the badge opens the license panel, where a License Key can be entered to activate or change plan.
💡 Tip: The sidebar is the only persistent UI element of Doc Regia. All other panels open on top of it and can be closed without losing the working session.
