Projects Workflow

Projects Workflow

The Projects Workflow panel is the main hub of Doc Regia. It lists all the projects in the active environment and provides access to every action available on each project.

How to open it

From the sidebar, click Manage Projects. The panel opens on top of the spreadsheet.

Project list

Each row represents a project and shows:

  • A checkbox for bulk actions on multiple projects
  • A state icon — ▶ green play (active) or ⏸ red pause (paused)
  • The project name
  • Three toggles: Responses, Reset, Archive

Toggles

  • Responses — turns automatic document generation ON or OFF
  • Reset — wipes responses, template, and generated documents to reuse the project from scratch (keeps the form questions). The action is permanent and requires confirmation.
  • Archive — moves the project to the Archive folder in Google Drive, hiding it from the active list

Right panel — project actions

Selecting a project opens its action panel, grouped in four sections:

  • Form — Get link, Form settings, Sharing & Alerts, Project folder
  • Documents — Responses, Review & Return, Download & Print, Open folder
  • Templates — Manage template, Sync template, Open template
  • Workflow — Manage generation, Import form, Manage schedule, Open archive

Top bar controls

  • Breadcrumb — shows the current environment (e.g. Projects - Main Workspace)
  • New project — opens the New Project panel
  • Three-dots menu — Show hidden projects, Move to hidden, Restore to list (PRO feature)

For the full walk-through of every toggle and action, see the dedicated guide in Quick Start → Project panel.

💡 Tip: Most day-to-day operations on a project can be performed without leaving the Projects Workflow panel. Use the right panel sections to jump directly to responses, templates, or generation controls.
