Schedule Close

Schedule Close

The Schedule Close panel lets you set a date and time slot for automatically closing a Google Form, so it stops accepting new responses at the scheduled moment.

Opening the panel

Select one or more projects in the Projects Workflow panel, then click Manage schedule in the Workflow section of the right-side action menu. If multiple projects are selected, the panel displays a row for each one, allowing you to schedule several closures at the same time.

Setting a schedule

For each project, choose a Date using the date picker and select a Time slot from the dropdown. Time slots are one-hour windows. When Doc Regia’s hourly background trigger runs during the selected slot, the form is closed and stops accepting responses.

Click Save to confirm the schedule. Once saved, a calendar icon appears next to the project in the Projects Workflow panel, indicating that a planned closure is active.

Precise timing

Because the closure is tied to the hourly trigger, the form will be closed within one hour from the start of the selected time slot — not at an exact minute. If you need a precise closing time, the panel provides a direct link to the native Google Forms setting: open your form, go to Settings → Responses → Set close date, and configure the exact deadline there.

💡 Tip: Schedule Close is especially useful for registration deadlines, exam windows, or any form that must stop collecting responses on a specific day. Select multiple projects before opening the panel to schedule them all in one step.
